Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, property structures, and grounds. Execute HVAC preventative maintenance, repair, and installation; handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair tasks. Process make readies, turns, and work orders while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Work under direct supervision with minimal oversight, utilizing personal tools and adhering to safety regulations. Must be willing to rotate on-call one week at a time. Requires one year of HVAC and appliance repair experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and valid driver's license depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service experience
- HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
- General maintenance knowledge
- Dependable transportation and valid driver's license
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- General knowledge of safety rules and regulations
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must have own tools
- Ability to regularly climb stairs
- Ability to inspect and show the community
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, reach above the shoulder, push or pull doors, and lift or carry packages up to 30 lbs.
- Must be willing to be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis
