Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, plus grounds maintenance. Key duties include HVAC preventative maintenance, repair and installation; making readies; handling turns and work orders; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair. Requires excellent customer service, willingness to be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have at least one year of HVAC/appliance repair experience, general maintenance knowledge, own tools, and, depending on location, dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
- General maintenance knowledge
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license (may be required depending on location)
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service experience
