Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for reviewing maintenance work tickets, scheduling site visits, and repairing swine facilities and equipment. Adheres to ISF bio-security and animal wellbeing policies; uses ISF Tools to track repairs, materials, and labor hours; available for weekend on-call maintenance; performs general construction skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and welding; repairs and replaces curtain systems, penning area components, feedlines, ventilation, waterlines, roofing, siding, ceilings, windbreaks, hog paneling, lighting, motors, and related equipment; manages parts inventory; works with site managers and production supervisors to ensure optimal facility operation; indoor/outdoor work environment with potential exposure to fumes, dust, and moving parts; capable of lifting up to 75 pounds; requires initiative, organization, and teamwork; basic computer and smartphone skills; full-time with possible weekend/holiday on-call; local travel with company vehicle; bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred, but not a requirement
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluency in both written and verbal communication is required
