Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC servicing, and safety inspections. Responsibilities include completing service requests for common areas and units, inspecting appliances and HVAC systems, performing routine repairs (lighting, locks, fixtures, drains, water heaters, tile work, drywall), assisting with trash outs and unit turns, and providing exceptional customer service to residents. Must have a valid HVAC certification (Type II or Universal EPA), a valid driver license with auto liability insurance, and be willing to work a rotating schedule including weekends; strong problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and physical stamina are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HVAC certification: Type II or Universal EPA Certification is required
- Valid driver license and auto liability insurance is required
- Proactive ability to identify liabilities and correct them
- Experience with routine maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC) and ability to perform service requests across common areas and units
- Strong customer-service orientation
