Job Summary
Inspect and perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while troubleshooting machinery and building equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify and correct issues, assist in installing and commissioning new machinery, and perform assembly, disassembly, and alignment of production tools. Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory usage, respond promptly to emergency calls, and ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations. Work with vendors as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and hearing protection
- Must follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or certification
- Experience working in startup companies or fast-paced, rapidly changing manufacturing environments
- Experience assembling, installing, and maintaining new and existing machinery and production equipment
- HVAC certification
- Electrical license
- Welding skills
- Forklift operation certification
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience supporting equipment installations, facility expansions, or startup operations
