Job Summary
Maintenance Technician needed for night-shift operations (Mon-Thu 4:00pm-3:30am, voluntary Friday OT) at a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, electrical systems, and physical structures; troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; conducting preventive maintenance; collaborating with operators and the maintenance team to diagnose machine variations and perform repairs; hands-on work with hydraulic equipment, electrical apparatus, machine tools, and welding; documenting repairs and maintenance activities to maintain accurate records. Requires roughly four years of hands-on industrial manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or industrial maintenance certificate preferred), and the ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, familiarity with CMMS software, and willingness to pursue relevant certifications (welding, electrical, HVAC, OSHA forklift) if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing (or equivalent mix of education and experience)
- Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and CMMS software
- Welding, electrical systems, HVAC, or OSHA Forklift Operation certifications (or willingness to earn)
