Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general industrial maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and completing necessary repairs. Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of conveyor systems, packaging machinery, HVAC systems, and other machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting power electrical systems, calibrating electronic weigh scales, and programming PLCs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least 1-3 years of mechanical experience and 3 years in PLC controls. Flexibility to work various shifts is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as a general mechanic
- Minimum 3 years in basic, industrial and PLC controls for electrical experience
- Experienced in general industrial troubleshooting, predictive maintenance & repairs
- Must be flexible to work any shift, weekends, and holidays
- Passing electrical maintenance test is required
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance training preferred
- Knowledge of refrigeration, ammonia and guard systems a plus
