Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, audits, and electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on specialized forms and labels machinery. Conduct equipment rebuilds, resolve routine issues independently, and assist operators to minimize downtime and safety risks. Make recommendations on repair strategies, maintain detailed records of repairs and calibrations, and review performance data to implement improvement activities. Train new and existing team members while assisting with local engineering upgrades and other assigned facility duties. This 2nd shift role (3:00pm to 11:00pm) offers a starting rate of $22.37 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Typically requires four to five years' experience
- Strong mechanical reasoning skills
- Conscientiousness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Windows based PC applications
- Experience with electronics and pneumatics
- Intermediate electrical troubleshooting on AC / DC circuits with multi-meter
- Basic root cause analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with saws, drills, cutters, grinders, torches, welders, and other fabrication equipment as needed
- Qualified candidates must be able to work afternoon and evening hours
- Must complete a pre-employment background check
- Must pass a drug screen
