Maintenance Technician, Rotating Schedule

Job Summary
Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting on pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines using detailed drawings and testing instruments. Repairs complex electrical equipment including motors, switchboards, and automated machines while performing wiring assignments, conduit installation, and circuit testing. Follow a strict preventive maintenance schedule to reduce downtime, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate repair logs. Clean, lubricate, and inspect shop equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations while performing general housekeeping, landscaping, and HVAC repairs. Assist engineers in diagnosing problems and suggest corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce waste. Report shift metrics on breakdowns and part availability to capture performance data.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
- Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus.
- Must have a strong detail orientation and be able to follow written and oral instruction.
- Must have a strong service and quality focus, be able to address issues effectively when problems arise, and take initiative to understand root cause then communicate/educate team in a timely manner.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge; must take initiative to cross-train and sustain acquired skills.
- Must have the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel in the writing of specifications, maintenance, design, and repair of critical process rolls and roll related equipment.

- 3-phase & control power & basic input & output electrical devices.
- (Electrical) Knowledge of relay logic, DC drives and PLC systems.
- (Electrical) Working knowledge of methods and procedures used in performing evaluations on all electrical apparatus using ammeters, meggers (high voltage resistance test device), temperature gauges etc.
- Understanding of technical & non-technical documents related to design & operational characteristics of machine mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work from prints/technical drawing.
- Skills required for machine tool functions

- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Industrial Electrician Multi-craft (Electrical and Mechanical) Maintenance Technician preferred
- Trade School Certification (or Associates) in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent journeyman's level training and experience preferred
