Job Summary
Respond to resident and management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units. Repair or replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and apartment materials while performing routine preventative maintenance. Inspect vacant units for move-ins and complete grounds work including sweeping and light landscaping. Operate machinery safely and work on-call 24/7, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 hours weekly, plus 401k and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years' general residential maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems
- Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations
- Reliable transportation
- Auto insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on-call as scheduled
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work after hours
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
