Maintenance Technician - Roadway (Day Shift)

Job Summary
As the Maintenance Technician, the role involves operating automotive and maintenance equipment to transport materials, personnel, and performing skilled highway maintenance duties. Key responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment, conducting various roadway maintenance tasks, providing roadside assistance, and performing building maintenance as required. Candidates should possess a CDL or the ability to obtain one, prior roadway maintenance experience, and demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Class 'A' or 'B' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within 180 days
- 1 to 3 years of prior roadway maintenance experience or college equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience in facilities, roadway, and bridge or grounds maintenance
- General knowledge of all roadway maintenance operations
- Previous experience operating tools, equipment and vehicles
- Ability to work alternate schedules including weekends and night shifts
- Possess OSHA 10 Hour, CPR and First Aid training

- Ability to perform equipment maintenance and facility maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Capable of learning and using other PC-based software and Apps
