Job Summary

Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians while performing hands-on maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and groundskeeping tasks. Manage the maintenance budget, establish vendor relationships, and oversee curb appeal by completing clean outs, reading water meters, and ensuring the property meets community standards. Finish work orders efficiently, conduct regular inventory checks, and take online training classes to maintain skills. Complete day-to-day duties with minimal supervision while adhering to all safety laws and regulations. This hands-on, working supervisor position requires physical activity and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading a team of 2+ team members or managing multiple vendor agreements/relationships
  • 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial property maintenance OR in a technical field such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC
  • 3+ years of experience in groundskeeping and/or landscaping
  • 3+ years of experience in some of the following: carpentry, painting (indoor/outdoor), flooring, drywalling, installing windows and doors, roofing, or framing
  • Successfully managed maintenance budget and was focused to saving dollars without sacrificing company standards or quality of work
  • Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver's license
