Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems while conducting inspections to identify issues. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems, then repair or replace faulty components like motors, switches, and valves. Fabricate parts as needed and install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects and address client concerns regarding maintenance issues. This role requires working on tall structures using a manlift, climbing ladders, and safety harnesses. A business or technical degree is preferred, along with one plus years of manufacturing plant experience and expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.
Required Qualifications
- Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- One plus years' experience in a manufacturing plant
- Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure
- Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics
- Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems
- Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals
- Diagnostic problem solving techniques
- Detail orientation
- Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems
- Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication
- Must have a valid drivers' license
