Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, conducting inspections to identify issues and determining necessary fixes. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems while repairing or replacing faulty components such as motors, switches, and valves. Fabricate parts as needed and install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations, while providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner. This role requires working on tall structures using a manlift, climbing ladders, and using safety harnesses. We are a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.
Required Qualifications
- One plus years' experience in a manufacturing plant
- Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure
- Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics
- Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems
- Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals
- Diagnostic problem solving techniques
- Detail orientation
- Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems
- Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication
- Must have a valid drivers' license

- Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience
