Job Summary
Line Maintenance Technician responsible for basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facility structures. Tasks include troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical/electrical failures, performing preventive maintenance, providing emergency repairs to minimize downtime, and executing welding, cutting and soldering. Requires reading equipment manuals and work orders; may involve pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, and repairing buildings or facilities. Must adhere to OSHA and GMP safety rules, maintain an orderly work area, and communicate professionally. English proficiency is required; ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks is needed. High school diploma or GED is required; technical school graduate preferred; 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance sought.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical School graduate preferred
- Three or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment
- Must read, write and speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of power and hand tools
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all employee levels at the plant
