Job Summary
Maintain and repair plumbing, heating, and electrical systems; perform repairs on windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, equipment, fixtures, and replace carpet/vinyl/ceramic tile; paint and patch drywall including mudding and taping; upkeep exterior and basic grounds; detect faulty operations and report deficiencies; requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and relevant trade certification or equivalent; must be comfortable using computers, smartphones, and tablets for email, work orders, and timesheets; on-call rotation; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Will work at Rhythm Apartments in Orleans, ON, with broad benefits and company cellphone provided.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a maintenance related role
- Completion of relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment
- Experience using computers, smartphones, and tablets; used for email, electronic work order applications, timesheets
- Availability to work on-call on rotational basis
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
