Job Summary
Maintain the interior and exterior appearance of the 65-unit Sagetree Terrace property by performing daily janitorial duties in common areas, responding to work orders, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. Complete unit turnovers within three days of move-out, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and address maintenance emergencies including after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Monitor landscape contractors, coordinate with vendors, and keep the maintenance shop organized while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and REAC/NSPIRE regulations. Perform elevated repairs on ladders and scaffolding, requiring the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field
- Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Must be able to endure prolonged standing and repetitive activities
- Ability to climb and balance on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead or horizontally
- Basic proficiency in English
- Full Time non-exempt employment classification

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks
