Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs general operating maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of the facility in accordance with current standards and company policies; maintains scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cords; responds to maintenance requests from Residents for items needing repairs in their rooms (plumbing, electrical, heating, lighting); requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years related experience; knowledge of building equipment and codes in healthcare facilities; must communicate effectively with Residents and families; Covid-19 vaccination required.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of building equipment, building codes and building systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) in health care facilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with Residents and their family members, and associates at all levels of the organization
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
