Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, general repairs, and minor construction tasks across commercial facilities in the Dallas, TX territory. Troubleshoot building issues, complete plumbing and electrical work, and conduct routine inspections while documenting deficiencies in company software. Respond to emergency service calls and maintain accurate service reports, photographs, and work documentation. Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and local building codes while communicating professionally with customers and store management. Maintain company vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment. Valid driver's license and 3+ years of commercial handyman experience required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot multiple building systems
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and work order management systems
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Lift up to 75 pounds
- Frequently climb ladders up to 12 feet
- Stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work overhead for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Daily travel within assigned territory; occasional overnight travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- EPA Section 608
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Trade certifications
