Job Summary
Maintenance Technician - Residential at Onni in Downtown LA. Responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and performing preventative maintenance and apartment turns; diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural components, and appliances; responding promptly to work orders; ensuring timely and quality unit turnovers; providing excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants; providing on-call pager service and emergency maintenance as required; inspecting buildings/grounds for safety and cleanliness; coordinating with vendors/contractors and assisting with bids and budget-conscious purchasing; supporting training on safety and compliance; adhering to company standards and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus
- Four or more years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC; vacuum furnace experience is preferred
