Job Summary
Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete repairs for plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance issues. Diagnose and fix general maintenance problems while installing and troubleshooting smart locks, access systems, TVs, and routers. Perform preventative maintenance, routine property inspections, and unit turns to prepare apartments for new residents. Coordinate with vendors for larger projects and maintain common areas and building systems to company standards. Document all completed work and communicate updates clearly with the operations team. This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, with opportunities for advancement as Ecco Living expands its portfolio across Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
- High-rise residential experience
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and identify practical solutions
- Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software
