Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for efficiently and safely making a variety of machine repairs in the facility and completing required preventative maintenance tasks. This person may guide other technicians, vendors and hourly facilities associates on projects such as machine movement and complex tear downs. knowledgeable on machine repair but tasks may vary widely throughout the locations. Key responsibilities include observing safety/environmental/ITAR procedures, maintaining, Troubleshooting, and repairing equipment (electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic), reading drawings, assisting with installations/movements, collaborating with managers/engineers, using CMMS for inventory and work orders, using dimensional tools, initiating purchase orders, and performing 5S activities; overtime/weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5-7 years’ industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in mechanical/electrical CNC machine repair preferred
- Experience in PLC programming preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and utilize machine drawings including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and fluid power diagrams
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
