Job Summary
Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot plant ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, water treatment, compressed air, HVAC, and fire protection equipment. Restore plant utilities after power outages and support the Process Safety Management program. Document work orders and equipment history using the Computerized maintenance management system. Travel to other locations and develop training for new facilities maintenance associates. Work eight-hour or twelve-hour shifts, including nights, holidays, and plant shutdowns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalency
- 5 years industrial plant maintenance experience in Anhydrous Ammonia and HVAC or refrigeration
- CIRO (Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator) certification within 6 months from date of hire
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Ability to recognize defective parts and to distinguish machine sounds, to detect potential mechanical issues
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to work on elevated surfaces
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noise levels
- Ability to pass an annual physical and respiratory test
- Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and troubleshooting PLC controlled systems
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions given in English
- Ability to work eight-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, day or night shift, or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required
- Required to work holidays and plant shutdowns
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States
- Must obtain a CIRO certification with six months from hire date
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in boilers
- Maintenance experience in air compressors (up to 600 PSI)
- Maintenance experience in wastewater treatment
- Maintenance experience in water purification (prefer nano or RO filtration)
- Maintenance experience in electrical systems (up to 460 V)
- Maintenance experience in piping systems
- Maintenance experience in hydraulics
