Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the Evergreen community, including maintaining gardens, conducting swimming pool testing, and performing workshop upkeep. Complete grounds maintenance such as light snow removal, carry out landscaping across the property, and manage records related to septic system upkeep. Perform repairs on all community buildings and equipment while maintaining work areas and promoting a safe environment. Be available for after-hours calls and respond to emergencies as required. This 12-month contract role reports to the Community Manager and supports Parkbridge's mission to enhance community living through reliable property management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of related general maintenance experience
- Valid G‐class driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, days, nights, and emergency call‐ins as required
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, contractors, the public, and residents
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis
Desired Qualifications
- experience working in the hotel or campground industry
- Knowledge of water and wastewater systems and related issues
- Water Operator Certification
- Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology and proficiency with Microsoft Office
