Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative and unscheduled maintenance of building mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, life-safety, pools, etc.), performing routine and emergency work, inspecting and preparing suites, maintaining tools and inventories, coordinating trades, maintaining maintenance records and safety checks, and supporting environmental, health and safety initiatives to ensure resident satisfaction. The role includes making suites ready, ensuring cleanliness standards, managing stock and supplies, and liaising with Maintenance/Community Managers to ensure proper operation and safety compliance. Proficiency with documentation, ability to lift at least 25 kg, and effective communication with staff, contractors, residents, and vendors are also required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma supplemented with post-secondary courses or certification
