Maintenance Technician PVC Day Shift M-F 7AM-3PM

Job Summary
Ensure production lines and equipment run continuously by completing work orders defined by Maintenance Managers, Production Supervisors, and Line Leads. Assist in prioritizing maintenance tasks, coach operators on daily preventative checks, and support line commissioning after process events. Contribute to workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency initiatives while troubleshooting electrical, electronic, motor controller, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Operate forklifts and perform structural welding as required. Work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM at the Wilmington location.
Required Qualifications
- 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
- Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Strong mathematical skills
- Success in planning, executing and managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Stick and wire welding experience
- Structural welding certification
- Forklift experience
- Ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced education and/or related-certification(s)
- Knowledge of PLC Logic technology
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
- Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
