Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role leading key initiatives to ensure efficient operational services for the District; performs preventive and corrective maintenance across buildings and site facilities, including mowing, fencing, debris removal, and snow removal, using trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC; duties include painting, wall repair, light bulb replacement, outlet and lighting repair, HVAC servicing, plumbing fixtures, security installations, ADA/ICC compliance, janitorial tasks related to projects, tool operation with PPE, inspections, and general reports to Facilities Manager; requires strong communication, problem-solving, and safety awareness, and may involve outdoor work, varied weather, and random drug screening; position is essential to district operations and may require responding to emergencies; Pueblo West Metropolitan District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have and maintain a valid Colorado class “R” driver’s license.
- Three years of general commercial building maintenance or related experience.
