Job Summary
Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance, identifying deficiencies and following procedures to correct problems. Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition, assisting with refurbishment projects, repairs, drywall installation, finishing, painting, and material disposal. Operate hand or power tools, company vehicles, and snow blowers while picking up and delivering supplies. Complete work within scheduled time frames according to budget and priority set by supervisor. Requires a high school diploma, one-year experience in building maintenance or construction, and a valid Florida driver's license with a clean record. Background screening is required for all candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one-year experience working in building maintenance or construction
- Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment
- A state issued driver's license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment not limited to hand or power tools, company vehicles, or snow blowers
- Must be able to perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance
- Must be able to identify deficiencies and follow procedure for correcting problems
- Must be able to maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition
- Must be able to assist with refurbishment projects and repairs
- Must be able to complete work within scheduled time frame, according to budget and priority set by supervisor
- Must be able to install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of drywall or other material
- Must be able to pick up and deliver supplies
