Job Summary
Perform regular and emergency maintenance on conveyor belts, packaging machines, and automated electromechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair 24V and 120V control voltage systems, including PLC diagnosis, while conducting mechanical repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic components. Execute TIG welding to meet 3A sanitary standards and assist in the installation, commissioning, and retrofitting of new equipment. Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs and equipment performance while collaborating with engineers and production staff. Requires an Associate's degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance
- Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions while following safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman's card
- Food industry or manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- TIG welding skills to meet 3A standards
- Proficient in troubleshooting 120v and 24v systems, PLCs, pneumatic/hydraulic components, fabrication, and TIG welding
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, PLCs, and mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
