Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for adhering to HSE requirements and ensuring maintenance of equipment, including electrical, instrument, and mechanical maintenance on a reactive and preventative basis. Key responsibilities include maintaining machine spare part inventory levels, diagnosing breakdowns, and performing rectification works on production machinery and facility equipment. The role requires communication among peers and superiors, fast response during emergencies, and compliance with company procedures. Candidates must have at least a diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance, preferably with knowledge of cable extrusion and related equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Good technical background
- Minimum 1 year of strong working experience in the related field
- Possess analytical problem-solving skills
- Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Able to construct, troubleshoot, and modify machinery electrical control
- Possess minimum rotating machine installation, programming and diagnosis skills
- Possess minimum PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
- Able to perform welding, lathe and milling machining
- Good communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with cable extrusion, cabling machine and wire drawing machine

- Willing to work on shift
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
