Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation of production and support equipment by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting according to schedules and directions from Supervisors/Production Manager. Coordinate downtime with supervisors and scheduling teams; follow LOTO/OSHA and safety/quality procedures; partner with Engineering to identify reliability improvements, design or fabricate parts, and execute root-cause analyses of build failures. Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic; use diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter); install/start/stop equipment per safety procedures; seek process improvements; maintain documentation; shift is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm; Raleigh, NC location. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years in a mechanical/electrical maintenance role; preferred experience in additive manufacturing or additional technical degrees.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or relatable equipment maintenance role
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, experience with motors, starters, relays, and VFDs
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic
- Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeter, clamp meter)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize work under production pressure
