Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs intermediate-level preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems. Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues; completes repairs; supports equipment installations and upgrades; and helps improve machine uptime and reliability. Works independently on routine tasks and under guidance for complex troubleshooting. Responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance on machine tools, basic repairs, CAD project work, CMMS maintenance, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Requires reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and troubleshooting using tools and diagnostic equipment. Weekend shift with exact days to be determined. Bonus points for experience with injection molding machines and CNC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical school or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience) in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, experience with motors, starters, relays, and VFDs.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic.
- Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeter, clamp meter).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize work under production pressure.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: Prior experience with Injection molding machines and CNC
