Job Summary
Maintain the physical condition and general upkeep of the community following operating and safety standards by completing work orders, preparing make-ready apartments including painting and flooring, and cleaning vacated homes. Perform regular inspections of community grounds, pools, and amenities while testing and maintaining pumps, boilers, and fire control systems. Respond to after-hours emergency calls and ensure workshops and utility rooms remain clean and safe. Remove snow and ice as directed and manage supply inventories for equipment entrusted to your care. Complete assigned tasks by deadlines and communicate obstacles to your supervisor in advance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of maintenance related experience, preferably as a Maintenance Technician
- Competent and efficient in all aspects of maintenance operations including electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Familiarity with technology including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and iPads/tablets
- High school education or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
