Job Summary
Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, facilities, systems, and grounds while prioritizing critical work orders. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems, coordinating with internal and external specialists for complex tasks. Schedule repairs and installations to minimize disruptions and report project status to management. Apply sound judgment to identify problems and develop solutions, communicating effectively with leadership and internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years' machinery, equipment, internal/external facilities maintenance
- Experience with manufacturing facilities
- Solid working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach, stand, sit, crawl, climb
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
