MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
Maintain and repair building systems and amenities across occupied and vacant units and common areas. Responsibilities include HVAC troubleshooting and component replacement, basic electrical work (switches, receptacles, GFCIs, lighting, ceiling fans), basic plumbing (faucets, drains, water heaters, fixtures), carpentry (drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, countertops, tile), painting and touch-ups, appliance repairs, and preventive maintenance. Duties also include reporting issues to management, preparing vacant units for leasing, removing trash, servicing community spaces, handling after-hours emergencies and on-call support, and assisting with grounds maintenance. Must lift up to 50 lbs, be able to work independently or in a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate with residents, vendors, and staff. EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification is preferred.
