Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Prime Meats responsible for keeping the processing plant running safely by performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment (e.g., vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers, grinders) and plant facilities. Will diagnose failures across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems; ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and safety procedures; document activities in maintenance systems; assist installation and commissioning of new equipment; and support predictive maintenance programs. Preferred background includes a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, electromechanics, or mechatronics and 2-5 years of related experience in food or pharmaceutical environments; knowledge of USDA/SQF/SOP/GMPs is a plus; ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams; and proficient English for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, electromechanics, mechatronics, or related field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
- 2-5 years in industrial maintenance
- Knowledge of USDA/SQF/SOP/GMPs (is a plus)
- English reading/writing for documentation
