Job Summary
Complete daily service work orders, prepare market-ready apartments, and perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and sheetrock repairs. Maintain common areas, building grounds, and exterior spaces while conducting routine cleaning and custodial tasks for resident turnover. Participate in the on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays to respond promptly to emergency requests involving floods, power outages, and safety risks. Conduct annual apartment inspections, identify hazards, and assist with compliance efforts and capital projects. Lift 70–75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors for snow removal and seasonal building preparation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- reliable transportation to assigned property
- Personal set of basic tools
- Ability to lift 70–75 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops (25–30 ft)
- Ability to work in confined spaces or crouched positions for extended periods
- Comfortable working overhead with power tools, hand tools, and painting equipment
- Ability to shovel snow or perform outdoor work for extended periods
