Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at POAH Communities responsible for maintaining safe, secure, and comfortable living environments across Bourne, MA properties. Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair building systems and resident-related maintenance, ensure all make-ready repairs are completed, assist in coordinating repairs, and help keep grounds neat. Must be knowledgeable of EPA and OSHA regulations, skilled with hand and power tools, able to operate equipment, and capable of working flexible schedules including weekends and on-call. HVAC certification preferred; valid driver's license and auto insurance required; physical ability to work in varied weather and lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- HVAC certification preferred
- Must have a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance coverage
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends and on-call basis
- Must be able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 75lbs, on feet, etc.)
- Must be able to read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
