Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Meadowbrook Apartments responsible for insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment. Will perform preventive maintenance on equipment, diagnose and repair, coordinate make-ready repairs, assist in keeping grounds neat, ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations, and operate hand and power tools. Requires 1 year of apartment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call. HVAC certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekends and on-call basis
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment, measuring devices
- Must be able to perform the following duties 66-100% of the time: be on feet, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turn, finger dexterity, lift/carry up to 75lbs, be able to read and understand maintenance forms and warning labels
- HVAC certification preferred
- 1 year experience in apartment maintenance
