Job Summary
Maintain extrusion or blow-molding equipment to assure uninterrupted, optimal operations; execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures; participate in changeovers with efficient, correct execution; perform reactive maintenance; ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational practices; grow knowledge through Plastipak Academy training and on-the-job experiences to position for internal promotions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
- Welding/fabrication experience a plus
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a bonus
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shift on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule
- Industrial maintenance knowledge related to extrusion or blow molding equipment
