Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical issues in industrial equipment. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to use personal tools. Key tasks include isolating electrical problems using technical data, interpreting and complying with the National Electrical Code, identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and evaluating or repairing defective components. Proficiency in reading technical documents and electrical drawings is essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Willingness to use own tools
- Basic math skills (i.e. multiplication, division)
- Good work record
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with electrical panels; experience working on electrical panels preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, drawings, and schematic diagrams
