Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Startup and operate production machinery, responding promptly to calls at production lines. Participate in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs, performing regular checks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines, including rebuilding and fabricating parts. Diagnose problems to achieve root cause analysis and inventory spare parts while suggesting re-orders. Complete work orders and maintain a neat work area with properly maintained tools. Follow all safety procedures and training, reporting any injuries or unsafe conditions immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical / Electrical skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization and outside of the organization
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple projects and deadlines
- Technically oriented, comfortable around machinery and plant environment
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Basic understanding of Root Cause Analysis
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
