Job Summary
Repair and maintain fitness equipment, perform electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, and conduct general facility upkeep including flooring, painting, and door repairs. Promptly respond to maintenance requests via the Service Channel ticketing platform, prioritize work based on urgency, and safely operate power tools while climbing ladders and moving equipment up to 100 lbs. Occasionally support outdoor tasks such as landscaping and snow removal, drive to multiple locations within the assigned region, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors on larger projects. Maintain inventory of supplies and participate in training sessions to improve technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of handy work, facilities repair, or related maintenance experience
- Knowledge of equipment repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility upkeep
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Outlook Email) and comfortable working with computers, including preventative maintenance system
- Successfully worked both independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
- Physically capable of repetitive tasks such as bending, climbing, lifting, and moving equipment
- Mentally alert, able to quickly learn new tasks and skills, troubleshoot, and complete assignments safely
- Organized and can prioritize multiple tasks, pivot on the fly, and get stuff done
- A team player who treats colleagues and members with respect and promotes a safe, cooperative work environment
- Possess a 'clean' driving record
- Reliable transportation is required when company vehicles are not provided
- Ability to talk and hear, sit, stand, and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- The employee must frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100+ pounds
- Drive to and from multiple locations within the assigned region as needed
