Job Summary
Repair and maintain fitness equipment across multiple facilities by performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. Conduct routine facility upkeep including sanding, painting, flooring care, and cleaning, while regularly inspecting buildings to identify safety hazards. Promptly respond to maintenance requests via the Service Channel ticketing platform and emergency calls, prioritizing work based on urgency. Safely operate power tools, climb ladders, and move equipment up to 100 lbs, occasionally assisting with landscaping or snow removal. Maintain inventory of supplies and collaborate with internal teams and vendors on larger projects like new club openings. Drive to and from assigned locations within the region, requiring overnight stays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of handy work, facilities repair, or related maintenance experience
- Knowledge of equipment repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility upkeep
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Outlook Email)
- Comfortable working with computers, including preventative maintenance system
- Successfully worked both independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of repetitive tasks such as bending, climbing, lifting, and moving equipment
- Possess a 'clean' driving record
- Mentally alert, able to quickly learn new tasks and skills, troubleshoot, and complete assignments safely
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks, pivot on the fly, and get stuff done
- Able to talk and hear, sit, stand, and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 100+ pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Must be available to travel to all clubs located in respective districts
- Must be available for overnight stays
- Must be willing to assist other locations or regions based on business needs
