Job Summary
Troubleshoot daily work orders for residents, prioritizing service requests and ensuring timely completion. Prepare vacant units for new residents against company standards and conduct full property walk-throughs to identify and correct maintenance issues. Maintain exterior grounds, including seasonal snow removal and pool care, while scheduling outside contractors as needed. Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, and appliance systems independently or within the team. Respond to on-call duties per company policy and attend staff meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance skills - plumbing, electric, heating/cooling, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall
- Ability to read blue prints, if required
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents and other property staff
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and the importance of service requests
- Ability to show confidence in work, motivate others and represent the property at resident functions
- Knowledge of fire and security system operation
- Ability to understand and use MSDS
- Ability to understand and use basic test equipment
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals
