Job Summary
Monitor property for repairs and replacements, complete work requests for common areas and units, and perform preventative maintenance. Assess and repair appliances as needed, assist in preparing vacant units for new residents, and maintain a safe work environment. Occasional on-call duties apply with a trip stipend if called back after regular hours. This role supports the general appearance and maintenance of the 248-unit Pheasant Ridge community in Iowa City, contributing to a great living experience for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license
- Valid insurance
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in maintenance
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems
- Basic knowledge of painting
- HVAC experience
- EPA experience
- CPO certification
