Job Summary
Perform regular maintenance tasks including painting, caulking, light carpentry, landscaping, and roof repairs. Execute repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems such as HVAC, boilers, and chillers. Conduct preventive maintenance on MEP equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Identify potential hazards regarding life safety, equipment functionality, and facility cleanliness. Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems, fire installations, and the entire premises. Support exterior grounds activities like snow removal, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance. Handle pest control initiatives and interact with facility personnel and tenants. Maintain on-call availability for after-hours emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- HVAC certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Able to interact and communicate both verbally and written with the facility personnel and tenants
