Job Summary

Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs. Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs including replacing light bulbs, ballasts, fuses, and plumbing fixtures. Operate machinery such as saws, routers, and drills while maintaining inventory of tools and supplies. Assist with carpentry, locksmith duties, and moving supplies. Respond to 24-hour emergency calls and complete maintenance work orders as assigned. Adjustment of hours, weekends, and overtime may be required. Wear proper protective equipment including goggles, helmets, and knee pads. Ensure all activities comply with established PRS policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Welding and Fabrication experience
  • Valid driver license
  • Class A driver license
  • 2 years related experience and/or training in automotive or commercial vehicle repair
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of diesel engines
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of suspensions
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of drive-train components
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of electrical systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of air conditioning systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of air brakes
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of computer diagnostics
  • Experience doing preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair
