Maintenance Technician - Part-time

Job Summary
Perform general maintenance repair tasks correctly, safely, and by due date, including fixture/outlet repairs, plumbing, carpentry, sheetrock, and painting. Complete all assigned maintenance service requests and conduct quarterly maintenance inspections. Execute deep carpet and tile cleaning on a quarterly basis, plus flipping, moving furniture, and deep cleaning tenant spaces for move-in/move-out. Manage inventory and organization of the warehouse while assisting with the online maintenance system. Travel throughout the Greater Jackson, Mississippi area as required. Work a flexible part-time schedule week-to-week including late nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous experience in building or similar maintenance
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance
- Ability to use and be on a ladder in excess of 8 feet
- Ability to move through properties, access ceilings and roofs, and similar
- Proficient in use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, ladders, paint equipment, and similar
- Ability to stand for a continuous lengthy period of time
- Time management skills
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Team player mindset
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with replacing flooring, sheetrock, full painting, and similar is a plus
