Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep of parish and school buildings and grounds, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, safety and energy audits, and supervision of part-time staff and contractors. Performs painting, carpentry, HVAC, snow removal, mowing, testing equipment, and setting up/taking down meeting spaces per instructions. Requires problem-solving, collaboration with staff and contractors, independence, and budget-conscious project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance or related field
- Experience with mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems
- Ability to read technical information
- Able to lift over 50 pounds
- Experience supervising part-time staff and contractors
- Background check and Code of Conduct compliance required
- Familiarity with Catholic ministry is an asset
